Perfect balance. Pity that the inferior stitching and glue. Only lasting me about one year, i fear i have to hunt for a similar balanced pair by the other superior brand Posted by Picasa

Look at how the cleats are positioned. Perfect balance and symmetry. Even though its arguably the more inferior brand for soccer gear, this pair of boots has given me the best balance and feet structure.  Posted by Picasa

Red Card and Yellow Card

The red card!

The card that signifies off-you-go... sit in the dressing room and wait for things to happen...

'Its my fault!' - David Trezequet

The player who decided which way the Trophy will go to...

I am surrounded by Italian supporters

My online survey has shown that I am surrounded by Italian supporters!

100% supported Italy to win the World Cup!!!

100%

100% for the blue of Italy!

Of cos my other qn in the survey was if Italy or Franch did not deserve to be in the finals, who would... and a good deal indicated my fav team Argentina. And there were some Brazils and Germany and the odd kuku who actually indicated England. One English kuku being me! Haha

To the 100% who supports Italy, did you guys really think that ZZ, Henry, Thuram, Makelele, Vieira et al are lousy players???

Anyway the Italian victory did vindicate your choice...
Just that too bad it was through the dreaded penalty shoot-outs again!
What a shame! What a bore!

80% voted in Italy
20% voted in Portugal
70% voted in France

We have an Italy v France finals, just like what we got in Euro 2000!

Promises to be a great final w 2 great teams

Last team for the Finals?

This is the survey result as of 3:15pm (Wed)

Germany 37%
Italy 75% (considering that some might have completed the survey after the game)
Portugal 0% ZERO
France 87%

I didn't know that no one fancies the Portugese!?!
There is the wonder kid speedy gonzalez C. Ronaldo. I think he has already lighted up the finals with his goals and contribution. There is still a 25% that he will carry aloft the World Cup.

Anyway, does the result so far indicate that ppl think that the French will win the World Cup?
They could

Argentina should still be champions!

The Q-finals have thrown up some really intriguing permutations.

There was of cos the heart wrenching Argentina lost in the penalty shoot-out with Germany.
There was the disappointing upset of England.
There was also of course the expected knock-out of once briliant Brazil.

Argentina and England were the biggest heart-ache for me. Well regular readers will know that I have supported both since the beginning of this World Cup. Fervently for Argentina and as a closet for England.

Nothing much to say but that the best team lost cos of a lousy tactical move and an almost good team lost due to the fact that they didn't need a coach.

Brazil. Well they deserved it actually. I know its a harsh word but I was never once impressed by them at all in the group stages. They were run ragged by Ghana remember.
Tactically naive, technique superb. But I think ppl have forgotten that football is now all about tactics rather than skills. Skills don't win matches anymore.
What made it worse was that Ronaldinho wasn't allowed to show casehis skills nor was the media favourable of Ronaldo. So too bad for them. Good riddance, enough of bluffing your way through this time. Next time maybe.

So sofa coaches and punters out there... who to go to the finals now?
